Chris Hélène Eklof
My work bridges the cellar and the boardroom: I track and interpret emerging trends across premium wine, spirits, tea, coffee, sake, non-alcoholic spirits and beyond — identifying the shifts in taste, provenance and guest expectation that will matter in the next 1-5 years.
My clients range from luxury hotels, restaurants and bars operating at the highest end to ultra-high-net-worth individuals building and evolving their private cellars for collecting and entertaining. Whether you’re shaping a beverage programme for a premium property or curating collections for significant private events and dining, I translate where the market is heading into actionable strategy today.
What sets this apart
I don’t advise on current trends. I identify which ones will define guest expectations and collector behaviour in years to come — from cult producers reshaping the spirits category, to the evolution of premium non-alcoholic beverages, to how discerning tastes are shifting globally.
My foundation is unusual. Before moving into trend advisory, I managed beverage and hospitality operations for ultra-high-net-worth private households in Stockholm, Sweden — work that demands absolute precision about what sophisticated clientele expect, often before they articulate it themselves. That insight now underpins how I advise premium properties and private collectors.
I am a Sommelier but my focus and knowledge is broader: category-spanning intelligence on the future of luxury drinking culture, paired with curating cellars, sourcing collections and executing private events.
I work flexibly — whether you need retained advisory, project-based consultation, or a fixed-term engagement. Currently building relationships across Asia’s luxury hospitality and collector communities. I am based in Sweden but prepared to relocate to the region for the right opportunity.
If you’re developing a beverage programme, building a significant collection, or want to stay ahead of where premium drinking culture is heading next, I’d welcome a conversation.
